What makes ASE different?
There are two unique features of ASE that represent unmet needs; it is a forum where a focused topic will be addressed in depth, and it is more nurturing than most annual society meetings, allowing for more involved and personal interactions and collaborations. This year’s focused topic is the spectrum of immunosuppression and tolerance.
The exhibit hall here is called the “ASE Learning Pavilion”, where lines of boxy booths are replaced with a free-flowing floor plan. The new arrangement is more stimulating because of its novelty and more functional because it facilitates movement and interaction. With exciting interactive stations and relaxing lounge spaces scattered throughout the hall, there are no “dead zones”, and you won’t be lost in the crowd. We encourage you, as a Learning Pavilion occupant, to avoid the standard literature-rack-and-banner displays and explore new ways to communicate your message. AST is your partner in offering a unique meeting and exhibition experience to attendees.
Why be here?
Think about what a great chance this meeting offers to try something new! Everyone goes to the same meetings every year, so why not add ASE to your list and be part of the inaugural Learning Pavilion? The premier of the AST Annual Scientific Exchange (ASE) offers a fresh opportunity to give your company or organization’s products and services the exposure you’ve been looking for.
Who’s coming to this meeting?
While attendance for a new meeting is challenging to predict, the buzz has begun and we expect to have over 450 attendees. The audience will include a wide range of transplant professionals including new and established researchers, physicians, surgeons, and other professionals. The lively Orlando setting is a great (and economical) draw for many, and the spirit of the Marriott World Center promotes one-on-one interaction in a relaxed atmosphere.
